JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Conservation is reporting data from the youth portion of turkey hunting season. Young hunters bagged 2,771 birds over the past weekend.
The top counties were Miller with 73 turkeys, Texas with 71, and Callway with 68 birds. Regular turkey season begins April 19 and ends May 9.
